Philly Triple Threat MissionTriple Threat Foundation is committed to serving youth in and around the Philadelphia area in three distinct arenas; Education, Athletics, and Life.

Educationally, members of the foundation will receive the necessary academic support to assure success in the classroom.

Athletically, members of the foundation will compete on a well organized basketball team and be involved in other basketball related activities.

The two main goals athletically are; development of fundamental skills and exposure to college coaches. From a life standpoint, members will be coached and mentored by high character and quality individuals with the primary goal to instill the appropriate life lessons in the individuals in whom we serve.

Education
In an effort to stress the importance of education, all members will be required to submit their report cards at the conclusion of each marking period. Students that display academic difficulty, will be referred for educational support services by Triple Threat Foundation. Tutors will be solicited to provide the needed academic support.

Basketball
At a minimum, two highly qualified coaches will be assigned to each team. Coaches will be required to have prior coaching experience on the recreation, high school, AAU, or college levels. The age of each team will determine the level in which they will compete. Typically the younger age groups will compete in less tournaments and be involved in less travel. The primary basketball goal is the development of fundamental skills.

Life
In addition to regular basketball coaching duties, all coaches will be expected to serve as a mentor and life coach to team members. The additional coaching responsibilities are critical in Triple Threat Foundation effectively fulfilling its mission. As a rule of thumb, any member being raised in a single parent home will be provided with a mentor/life coach from Triple Threat Foundation.
