Both of our girls teams (PTT-Hargrove 13U and PTT-Bass 16U) participated in the Blue Chip’s Select Tournament in King of Prussia this weekend.Our 16U team (pictured above) easily defeated its competition on the way to an undefeated weekend with 4 victories.  This was the first action of the AAU season for Coach Dave Bass and his girls, and they were definitely impressive.  Leading the way was Dianna Thomas-Palmer and Monaye Merritt, both veterans of the PTT family.  We are expecting big things from both young ladies during this AAU season.  Newcomers Shanice “Nue-Nue” Maynard & Monique Whaley-Briggs showed great potential in their first outing in Triple Threat uniforms.  

Our 13 U girls were equally as impressive as the 16’s. Coach Hargrove’s team also went 4-0, winning every game by a double digit margin. Newcomers G’mrice Davis, Micheal Harris, Bianca Picard, Bianca Adams, Deja Reynolds, Allison Lewis & Jayla Greene are growing more comfortable and improving with each game.

 

Both teams head to the prestigious Boo Williams Nike Challenge in Virginia on April 16 – 18.
